Lycro has since 1970 produced moulds to customers in Norway and in Europe. The fact that we're working on all these areas often requires expertise from one area affecting the others in a reinforcing manner. We have a modern workshop combined with the use of 3D right from the design stage to finished product, a great advantage for our customers. We produce all kinds of moulds from small technical moulds to large moulds. The biggest mould we have completed is 15000 kg. Socketing machinesFor large quality minded pipe manufacturers like Pipelife, Wavin, Uponor and many others, rotation welding is the preferred way to attach a socket to polyolefin pipes. For corrugated as well as for smooth pipes, rotation welding means the best quality of sockets as well as the most flexible and efficient production line. For corrugated pipes the sealring is placed on the pipes. For smooth pipes the seal is inside the socket. The preferred method for sockets on smooth pipes is to secure the sealring in the socket with a so-called clickring. LYCRO makes machines for automatic mounting of sealrings and clickrings on sockets.For smooth PVC-pipes LYCRO manufactures belling machines based on the Rieber system. Moulds for injection moulding,and fittingsWe have manufactured tools for injection moulding of thermoplastics throughout our history. We have designed and built tools for both Polyolefin and PVC. We particulary have experience with very large tools up to 15 tons of weight. We have indepth competence in pipefitting tools, and in the design of pipefittings. We do all our design and construction in advanced 3D-design (Pro-engineer). Our workshop is very well equipped with high precision machines capable of 5 axes running, high-speed milling as well as handling of very heavy work pieces. We can also supply pipefittings in PP, particularly rotation welding socket in PP. This means that the customer does not need to buy his own injection moulding to start with, we can supply you with welding sockets
